Coil spring installation TR3
Hello Folks , I am ready to install coil springs on TR3 have spring compressor on loan , can anyone direct me in best method of install ? Thanks Andy Owensboro Ky
Andy, that's not the right spring compressor and I doubt it will work. The correct one for a TR is a long threaded rod through the center of the spring that brings up the spring pan with the spring.
TRF or Moss catalogues will show what you need.

Viv have the springs installed , you were right ! had to go to a 5/8 piece of all thread and a steel plate mounted under the pan , Thanks for noticing that issue, included are pics of install and also a pic of how body is coming along , do you happen to know where I in can find a exploded view of front suspension , want to confirm i have a all washers and seals in correct location , Moss and VB are a bit vague Andy
