Can anyone tell me what are the correct size (diameter & depth ) of the three heater control switch bevels that mount on the dash support cover for TR4A.  I have seen so many different combinations I don't know what the original ones were.  Also for concours judging purpose, my Triumph was originally undercoated by the dealership when purchased new, since I have done a frame off restoration I would like to have it undercoated again for added protection. Would the judges except a notarized letter from the original owner stating the car was purchased new with the undercoating on as proof of originality. I have the owners manual with his name & service records with dates in it. Tom

I personally would. Check also on the build record if you have one. Sometimes they say 'to wax' on the specifications which might indicate Waxoyl on the undersides. An undisturbed 58 had that on it's record and had ancient undercoat on the undersides but i couldn't swear that it was factory. At the time the car was thirty years old. Anyone could have done it. It really makes you wonder as Scott Harper still has his nearly undriven TR6 that suffered a dose of Rusty Jones. It was done by the dealer I believe. What would be done with that? If i recall they Jones'd the inside of the engine compartment as well as putting all of the plugs in the rockers. It won't rust hopefully but..
