Since I couldn't find a topic on this I thought I'd start one.  Of course, now everyone will point out where the topic has been.  As usual, the Clough Clan will be there early...I was to the TRA website looking for an update to meet info, such as hotel, and it still has not been updated.  I want to make reservations, sooooooo, any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I lost the flyer Mark gave me at TRA 2010...I'm a guy, I admit...

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgving.

Regarding the Hotel. If you go to the TRA website and click on National Meet you'll see a hotel
drop down with the info you need to register.  I signed up several months ago so Linda and I
are ready to go!

Like you I'm waiting for the registration form for the meet itself to make it's presence known
so I can get signed up. Living in the frozen north outside of Syracuse, NY it's critical to have
things to look forward to during our "time on the tundra" months coming up. And what better
thoughts to have than hanging out laughing and learning from our TR buddies.

Mark gave you a flyer....?????  Man you must be special.

Yep...life is good.

Bruce:
Look at www.tra2011.com.  There's a link to the host hotel.  Call to make your reservations and be sure to specify "Triumph Register of America" (NOT "TRA") to receive the event discount pricing.  The toll free number directly to the hotel is 877-482-3332.
FYI, they have only two "family suites" with bunk beads for the kids, so if this is of interest you may want to make your reservations soon while they're still available.  Several other upgraded rooms/suites are also available, as well as awesome handicap accessible rooms, so you may want to ask about options when you call.  Full info on the meet will be in the next newsletter, due out in late December.

What update are you looking for on the registration form?  It was in the January TRA Newsletter and it's on the TRA 2011 web site.  Click on Pages and select TRA 2011 Registration Form.  Then click where indicated to download the form.

New Member here so missed it in the Newsletter.   Sorry, been looking at the TRA 2011 website a couple of times and missed the "pages" tab on the top.  I see it there now.

Cheers,
Tush

Unfortunately, the special TRA 2011 web site did not receive the attention it should have, and things aren't as easy to find as we would have liked.  If anyone else has trouble finding and downloading the registration form, here is a direct link:

Thanks Mark,

Didn't want to rock the boat but I agree with you 100 per cent.   I spend alot of time on the computer and on car forums etc, and if I missed it, I am sure that there would be others as well.

Cheers,
Tush

The drop down menu doesn't work on my MS XP computer. I tried both AOL and IE. The direct link to the registration form worked, but I didn't find the hotel registration info there. Will try the TRA Home page.

See you in June.

The hotel information is just above the TRA logo on the bottom right of the registration form.  For those that didn't get the last TRA Newsletter, here are the details:

Holiday Inn - Fort Wayne, IN
4111 Paul Shaffer Drive
Phone:  877-482-3332 (direct to the hotel)

Ask for rooms in the TRA 2011 block to receive the special $95 per night rate, which includes breakfast every morning.

If anyone has any other questions about registration or the hotel, you can email me at tonda.macy@sbcglobal.net.

The problem downloading must have been Firefox, because I have Windows 7 on my laptop and I'm able to download it just fine using Internet Explorer.

Thanks Tonda.  I'll try IE for the download.

Since TRA 2011 is coming up fast, I've redirected the National Meet link on the TRA home page to make it easier for everyone to quickly access the information they need.  The Tri-State Triumphs' TRA 2011 meet website is also linked and referenced on that page:  http://www.triumphregister.com/TRA2011.html.

Please let me know if you still have trouble accessing information from the TRA website.

Only two more weeks to take advantage of the discounted registration price for TRA 2011.  Registrations postmarked after May 1, 2011 will go up to $89 for TRA members and $114 for non-members, which includes a 1 year TRA membership.  Hurry and get your registrations mailed today!

I've been checking on our block of rooms to see how bookings are going.  There are people that have sent their registration in but I do not see their name on the hotel list.  And there are names on the hotel list that I don't have registrations for yet.  FYI, in order to receive the free breakfast buffet at the hotel, you must book a room from the Triumph Register of America block.  If you book online, through a third party vendor (orbitz, priceline etc) or use free nights from rewards programs, or any other room rate discounts, you will not have breakfast included with your room.

If you haven't made your hotel reservations yet, I suggest you do so in the next couple of weeks.  Any unused rooms from our block will be returned to the hotel on May 25th.  You can still get the TRA negotiated price, as long as rooms are available.  But there is no guarantee that rooms will be available, so get your reservations made.

And there is only one more week to take advantage of the early registration price.  So get those registration forms mailed today!

I don't know whether to celebrate or cry. Out first grandchild is due the week of the TRA National. Wish the kids had been more considerate. If I'm not there, please explain that it isn't from lack of interest.
