MG: alive & well & manufactured in China!

I thought this is sort of a related topic, which surely might interest some. While on a recent business trip to Shanghai, China, I spotted a familiar grill. I did a double take and this is what I found! The new MG7! I pulled out my camera and after about 15 seconds, the Area Guard and many “spectators” were hovering around wondering what the heck I was doing. I must admit, it sure did exude quality in every way. This MG was luxurious and as you can see, is as good looking as anything on our roads today, (IMHO)! Incidentally, I saw more American made vehicles in China than any other European country I visited, which totals 7, (in fact all 7 combined). And, the Buick LaCrosse is a status symbol in China, so say my Chinese friends. Interesting.

Dominick:  Is there supposed to be a photo attached to your post?   If so, I don't see anything and I don't know why?   Please reply.  Thanks

Actually this is OLD news.  The original intent was to set up manufacturing in Oklahoma.

trtags: There are about 10 photos attached. I can see them. Is anyone else having a problem seeing the photos I've posted? Thanks.

Dom, I sent a pm to the admin.  I can see other photos posted by members, but not yours.  Can you see the following photo of my TR250?

I sure can, it's very nice too. I wonder if anyone else is having a hard time seeing the/my photos. How about my other photo-posts, any trouble there, can you see them? Thanks for the alert. Need to know the reason so we can fix it, you should see the MG7, it's actually pretty elegant as cars go these days... d
